We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate large-scale event production and strategic communications efforts. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of project execution, including planning, budgeting, staffing, risk management, and stakeholder communication. The role demands expertise in event management, strategic marketing, and client relations, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget for large-scale events and marketing campaigns.
- Budget Management: Create and manage detailed budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and controlled.
- Event Coordination: Oversee the logistical planning and execution of events, including securing venues, permits, and coordinating with vendors.
- Team Leadership: Manage cross-functional teams, delegate tasks, and ensure effective communication among team members.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Reporting: Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, financial status, and any issues that arise.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in event coordination and strategic communications.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management in large-scale projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
